🚀 Getting Started with Bitacorale

Welcome Trader 👋

First of all: thank you for being here.

Many users arrive at Bitacorale, see an empty Dashboard… and don’t know where to begin.
The truth is that you only need to log YOUR FIRST TRADE for everything to make sense.

In less than 2 minutes you’ll see:

• 📊 Break Even
• 💵 ROI
• ⏳ Max Profit
• 💠 Extrinsic Value
• 🔄 Diversification by Assets and Strategies
• 📈 Evolution of your trading performance
• 📅 Profit Calendar
• 🔍 Analysis by strategy, symbols and dates

And the best part: no spreadsheets, no formulas.

Let’s go step by step 👇

1️⃣ Choose how you want to start

🔹 Option A: Import automatically from your broker

👉 Go to the Import module → select your broker.

If you see the API button (green):
✔ You can use the official API from your broker
✔ It allows you to load your trades safely and automatically

If the API button is not available, simply:
👉 Click Upload CSV to import the file generated from your broker.

🧩 After loading your trades (API or CSV)

• Select the trades you want to import
• Choose between:
  ✔ Mass Import (import multiple trades at once)
  ✔ Import (import trades exactly as they were generated in your broker)

In seconds, your trades will appear inside Bitacorale ✨

🔹 Option B: Enter a trade manually

👉 Go to the Bitácora module → New Operation

You will see two options:

✔ “Add Strategy”

Allows you to load entire option strategies (iron condor, verticals, spreads, etc.).
It will ask for:

• Trade date
• Type (Buy, Sell, Buy Call, Sell Call, etc.)
• Strike
• Expiration date
• Quantity
• Price

✔ “Add”

Allows you to add an individual leg with:

• Trade date
• Type (Buy, Sell, Buy Call, Sell Call, etc.)
• Strike
• Expiration date
• Price

Everything is very simple and intuitive.

Then click Save… and that’s it! 🚀

2️⃣ What you will see after logging your first trade

📊 Dashboard with real information

Once you load your first trades, your Dashboard transforms instantly and shows:

• Key portfolio indicators:
  Collateral · Open trades · Closed trades
  Positive / negative trades · Win rate
  Total dividends · Total expenses · Capital contributed

• Upcoming expirations of your open contracts

• Cash Evolution (your real equity curve)

• Diversification by Strategies and Sectors

• Subaccount grouping

• Profits by ticker symbol

• Monthly and yearly results

• Profit Calendar (included inside the Dashboard)

Everything calculated automatically — no spreadsheets needed.

3️⃣ What we recommend doing in your first 5 minutes
